Glasgow House - West End Self Catering
ABOUT Glasgow West End Self catering The entrance door, made from oak by renowned Glasgow artist Paul Hodgkiss, takes you into the spacious hall area and immediately your eyes wander up to admire the proportions and finish of the handmade stainless steel and wood staircase, spiralling to the top of the house. The first floor hosts the first two bedrooms - a comfortable single bedroom and a south-facing en-suite double bedroom. With its french double door and window-panelled wall that lets air and light in, the double bedroom provides an inviting atmosphere and space to relax in after a busy day. Beautifully finished shower-room/bathroom complement this room offering you comfort and privacy. A few steps up you find two further en-suite bedrooms - the twin bedroom with en-suite toilet and washing facility, and the master bedroom. The master bedroom is a statement in luxury. It enjoys plenty of light and air through a floor-to-ceiling glass-panelled wall complete with French doors. Beautifully finished, furnished with superb quality wooden furniture, combining neutral colours with deep wine and brown, it is the most scrumptious space in the house. From there a few more steps lead you to the breathtaking top floor. This open area cleverly divided by shades of colour, curved walls and raised flooring gives several semi-defined living areas. Complemented by a spacious terrace and a raised dining space the room is completed by the Paul Hodgkiss bespoke kitchen made from the wood of an elm tree felled in the West End 7 years ago. 12 meters of window panels present you with a panoramic view of the West End.
