The Taversoe Inn is situated on the island of Rousay, offering magnificent sea views over the Eynhallow Sound towards the Orkney Mainland. it is located just up form Frotoft on the south side of Rousay. The Traversoe is listed with Visit Scotland and is graded as a 3 star Inn. They have three rooms available, two with sea views and one en-suite. All rooms have a television, tea and coffee making facilites, a wash hand basin and a hairdryer. Bedroom 1 and 2 are both double bedrooms with stunning sea-views and have the following facilities: Tv, Coffee and Tea making facilities, Wash Hand Basin. These bedrooms share a bathroomThere is also a guests lounge enjoying sea views and providing facilities which include, TV, DVD, Video, Games and a large selection of Books.
Rousay is a small hilly island about 2 miles from the Orkney mainland but due to the last ferry approx 5.30pm it is alwasy advisable to spend at least one night on the island.

Transport from Glasgow Airport or Edinburgh Airport can be arranged Glasgow Airport Transfers to Orkney.
