Dundarave House, a former 3 star Guest House is located in Strathtay approx 7 miles by car south west of Pitlochry on the road to Aberfeldy. This novelty refurbished Victorian guest house is situated in the peaceful village of Strathtay, opposite the golf course, between Pitlochry and Aberfeldy. Enjoy a stroll along the Tay after a delicious breakfast produced from local, freerange produce. Packed lunches also available. The garden attracts a stunning range of wildlife including red squirrel, woodpeckers, siskens, bank voles and newts.

There is ample parking to the front and rear of the property.

We are also Wi-Fi enabled throughout

We have three bedrooms, one double with En-suite and two twins with private bathrooms/shower room all located on the first floor. The breakfast room is also located on this floor with a comfortable lounge for the sole use of guests on the ground floor.

All bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed with hospitality trays, radios and hair dryers. The guest lounge has television with Freesat and also a hospitality tray providing a traditional Scottish nightcap to complete your day.

The Guest House is particularly suited to smaller parties of three to six persons as they would have the whole first floor at their disposal.

We regret that we do not have facilities for young children under 8.

Self Catering

Situated at the rear of the Guest House is a two bedroomed cottage dating from 1814. The cottage sleeps four in two upstairs bedrooms and has a fully equipped kitchen/diner, a lounge with Freesat TV, wood burning stove and shower room. Next to the cottage in the old stables are situated the laundry and drying rooms.

All fuel is supplied - logs and electricity - and all linen and towels.

Outside there is a patio area overlooked by woodland and home to a large variety of wildlife, principally red squirrels which visit the feeders on the patio on a daily basis.

For you local shopping convenience there is as well stocked Spar store and Post Office situated a short walk from the cottage

Please not you can book with a deposit for accommodation by credit card but Dundarave House has no credit facilities.
