STIRLING
Stirling in the heart of Scotland is perfect for our
Scotland History Tours. An area steeped in history and includes
surrounding areas and villages of Loch Lomond, Trossachs, Dunblane, Bannockburn, Bridge of Allan

SOUTH SCOTLAND
This is just another fantastic area with Dumfries & Galloway and the
Scottish Borders steeped in history, castles and
culture with areas and towns like Dumfriesshire,
Newton Stewart, Gatehouse of Fleet, Jedburgh,
Moffat, Selkirk and Hawick to
name a few. Some areas include Portpatrick which has Dunskey Castle (an impressive 16th century Castle ruin overlooking the
Irish Sea from its Clifftop). We also have Stranraer
and its
town hall and with the Stranraer Museum ( This used to be the Old Town hall but now has all the information about the Local
History, Farming, Polar Exploration) The castle of St John (Medieval Tower House built in the 1500s used to supress the Covenanters by
Goverment troops and in Victorian times how it was used as a prison). There is Newton Stewart and Wigtown and not too far is
Bladnoch with the most southern Distillery in Scotland and further south of Bladnoch there is Whithorn with the Whithorn Priory Museum and The
Rispain Camp - reputed to be 1st or 2nd AD which was a rectangular settlement defended by a high bank and a low ditch.
4 miles further
south west is St Ninians cave which is associated with the Saint and has early Crosses which are housed at the Whithorn Museum. There is also
numerous burial chambers in the South and no more so than
Cairn Holy which is near
